When Karen from Fringe posted the pattern for the third hat of the Fringe Hatalong Series I instantly knew that I would knit this hat as a birthday gift for my littlest one. To transform the adult size pattern into a child size I decided to knit it with some leftover Madelinetosh in a sport weight (the original pattern calls for a worsted weight yarn). It worked perfectly fine and my girl loves her new autumn hat! And I love the pattern by Gudrun Johnston so much that I decided to knit another one for my older girl (the blue one pictured above…)

I loved to knit this little sweater for my girl. I made the sleeves shorter than in the original pattern so she can wear the sweater in the late summer and autumn. The lovely pattern is by Nadia Crétin-Lechenne a.k.a NCL knits. See my ravelry notes here.
